Let me be honest with you right up-front. My friends and I need your help. But, we've prepared something for you in return. All you need to do is to vote for “Stay Hungry” in the Johnny Bunko contest. And tell all your friends to do the same.
Update Sep 2009:
Becky Blanton's Site
The contest is long over, but you can visit Becky's new site.
And now I'll tell you why
Did I tell you that
we have a cool, free, funny, smart ebook for you. More about this later. However…
I make it short and sweet that you have more time to tell your friends and colleagues.
- Daniel Pink wrote a book.
- Not a boring list of to-dos and not to-dos.
- Only 6 rules!
- …and what was started as a book became a comic when it was finished.
- No wonder it became a best-seller.
- Everybody was raving about it,
The last career advice you'll ever need.
- There is only one problem. A big problem.
- Daniel did not finish it.
- Instead, he started a contest about “Lesson 7”.
- Now he down to three finalists.
- But only one can win.
- For me there's no doubt:
“Stay Hungry” has to be lesson 7.
You want to know why? Because it's the most important, most compelling of all the rules.
Everybody wants to stay in the game and move forward, right?
- Now is your time.
Get the free e-book,
an even better comic than the original book. Full of zombies and humor.
Check out what “Stay Hungry” can do for you.
And don't forget to vote! Check the results.

Update 2009 01 14: Seth Godin just published a short blog article and asked for the same, “Vote for Becky”. Wanna learn about Traffic Magnets.
Update 2009 01 16: Becky Blanton's “Stay Hungry” will be lesson 7! She won the contest with 72% of total votes. Read my email marketing lesson learned.
You might wonder why I want you to vote for “Stay Hungry”. I really believe it's the best lesson and I want to see Becky Blanton, who came up with the slogan and story, at the
Global TED conference in Oxford this summer. That's the prize for the author of the best lesson. Not bad at all. An all expenses paid trip to the conference.
Just recently I've posted
3 TED Talk videos. Aren't they phenomenal. I am sure you share with me the appreciation for the TED conference and the fresh knowledge that's made available to the public that way.
I wanna get Becky there. She stands for
“Stay Hungry”. I promise you, she's giving us an awesome background story to learn from. Becky Blanton is a gifted, experienced photo-journalist and published writer. She already told me that she's eager to write her personal TED story.
The contest is over, but check out her new site.

Besides that, Becky will get lots of attention from winning that contest and can turn that into active help for the good causes that are mentioned on her website. Last but not least, we wanna get the best lesson promoted to everyone, not something we don't believe in.
Hoping for your active support
(just a click and probably tell your friends and colleagues, share this post)
Yours
John W. Furst
P.S.: Just in case you missed the link to your free ebook. It's in the bulleted list above. (It won't be there forever, get it now.)
